Looks good for the price.
The climbing belt arrived quickly. It seems well built, and should meet me needs. I haven't used the harness yet (it just arrived), but there are a couple of things in other reviews I agree with: 1. The adjustment clips for the waist and legs are aggravating to use. 2. The accessory loops look kinda lightweight. But, I think everything will work fine for my needs. I'll know more once I use it. For now I can say it looks like a good harness for the price. Thank you.Read more
Cheap plastic buckles
I was concerned when I saw this harness that some of the buckles are plastic, sure enough one broke only my 3rd time using. I will be searching for a new sturdier harness, the last thing I want to be worrying about while climbing is if my harness will hold me.Read more
It got the job done.
It’s not bad. The set up is good and the rigs are nice. I don’t know if it would come off if I was upside down but it was comfortable and good for the price.Read more
Good for me
I don’t cut trees or climb for a living so I wasn’t gonna buy a 300$ harness but also didn’t want something my life is dependent on to break on me. I’m happy with this one the rings on the side and straps and bridge are good construction. I would recommend this to a friend. Good quality in my opinionRead more
Been good so far
I use this in trees. It is robust and feels safe, which brings me confidence in the tree. Its more comfortable than other low dollar harnesses I've tried. The range of adjustability allows it to fit your body pretty well. The bridge is a nice feature because it shares your body's weight between the hip pad and leg pads, so 2-3 hours in a tree isn't completely horrid. Overall, at the time of writing this review I've spent about 50-60 hours hanging in trees and it shows no signs of wear.Read more
Not a Petzl rescue harness but still really good
Overall very happy with the purchase. This is not a $400 Petzl rescue harness but it's pretty good for recreational climbing and tree work or lineman work and excellent at its price point. I bought it to climb trees. It's similar to the rock climbing harnesses we used in mountaineering school with four utility straps and seat. It's comfortable and stitching is good quality. Works well for climbing trees with spurs and if I end up stepping to srt or ddrt it would probably be good for that too. If I needed a harness for mountaineering I'd feel comfortable using this one. The straps are a little hard to undo. It's not difficult, it's just not effortless. I don't have a problem with that but you do have to fuss with it a bit. Id give it a 7 or 8 for adjustability, but only because of convenience. Actual adjustability is excellent. There were some complaints about quality of stitching around the utility hangers so I hung my saw (which is very heavy compared to what you'd typically climb with) from the metal rings where my flip lines clipped in. I just added a carabiner and hung my saw from that.Read more
Very comfortable
Really comfortable saddle , not sure about the safety ratings though? The rings and the rope on the bridge are not marked with a kilonewton rating. There is a tag stitched to the back of the harness claiming it’s tested? Use at own risk ! Could not find any info about this harness.Read more
